If your industry (AI) can only exist by ripping the work of others without credit, then it shouldn't exist.

The big companies are just steamrolling over the rights of everyone because they're getting away with it. Governments have been cowardly to act on this.

If your corporation's business model relies on lawbreaking, your corporation has no legal legitimacy.

We don't let narcotic cartels and trafficking rings list themselves on the stock exchange: why should OpenAI or Facebook be any different?

To understand what the GOP is forcing through at midnight:
•Gutting $880 billion from Medicaid
•Gutting $500 billion from Medicare
•Gutting funding for SNAP (food assistance)
•Gutting clean energy protections, which will also cost 400,000 jobs

All to help 800 billionaires and hundreds of billion dollar corporations become even wealthier. This is the largest transfer of wealth from working people to the wealthy. This is corporate welfare on steroids. This is class warfare against working people.

They’re skipping the whole “confirm they’re here illegally” part. My family and I got no due process when they put us inside a Japanese American internment camp for years because we looked like the enemy.

Say no more.

I’m so heartbroken reading the news about bay area musician Rob Reich. I regret not making it to more of his gigs while there was still time, I guess I took it for granted that the bay was blessed with his talent for so long. We only did a few recording projects over the years, but every one of them was a magical memory. Watching this video this morning is bringing tears to my eyes.
