Game Making Tools is a few things, but mostly a wiki for amateur game/vidcon makerers.
Avatar description: Game Making Tools logo, a crudely drawn pink explosion with yellow outline, enclosing crossed-over drawings of a hammer and saw in red and white.

@skatebee Oh hey, Masto was hiding notifications from you.
Never heard of this before. Kinda surprised it's a PlayStation game, seems contemporary.
@rainbowgoblins I thought this was just going to be clips or something, but everyone's comments are really good!
hey now that we're back how about that cool Unearthed Treasure Room video that includes friends @coleoptera and @farawaythyer AND features one of the best DOMINO CLUB games.... watch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNPPJohxAk4

#bitsyjam 92 - nothingness
Fascinating article by @gdc on the DEL-key's supposed nothingness, how it's been visualized through history, and why the Amiga does it differently. Or does it...? https://blog.glyphdrawing.club/the-origins-of-del-0x7f-and-its-legacy-in-amiga-ascii-art/
@minterpunct oh good, glad to hear it was helpful :knp_weedc:
@minterpunct It does have some cool features now I'm looking at it again.
I think I just downloaded it because it's made with Turbo Pascal, but I liked it enough to make a little wiki entry for it at least??
@minterpunct Dunno if they really match up to paint.net, but I have EZ Paint and LazPaint installed on here for some reason and they're kinda normally MSPaint+ type things.
You can now read my essay on "late futurism", that is, the future as a mode of the present, in full on my website: https://silviolorusso.com/publication/late-futurism/
If you like this text, please do subscribe to Hotpot, as it is thanks to the support of Parco Gallery, who created this great newsletter, that I was able to to put together this piece (it was a LOT of work).
As I make this post, the words of Simon Höher (Dark Matter Labs) I heard today in Lisbon still resonate: "The most radical futures are genuinely unthinkable" (ironic that the picture perspective makes them thinkable). And yet, think we must. That's what I tried to do and what Höher does in a definitely more pragmatic way.

@SpindleyQ @jsnlxndrlv fwiw I haven't heard of any other bullshit since. I probably would have looked into it more last year if we weren't already pushing the limits of our database size.
