I just walked through our screen door -
On it rather.
I looked for it, didn't see it and thought roomie had left it open for me to get my groceries.
Next thing I know I am on the ground.
I took the jamb off the house.
It looks like a very localized tornado targeted us 😭

So is it not normal to finish a social gathering and then write gratitude-filled prosey recaps and impressions? Bc I recognize a lot of what I do is odd and unusual but this I never thought twice about until tonight.

I played a card game with 3 males, all very passionate about their interests including this card game and not a once did they talk down to me or get upset at me for how I played, and I think I am healed a lil bit more.

In the ongoing saga of "clients assuming the relationship between me and the person I answer phones for" - it has moved from "your husband" to "your father". 😶🤭 (Only one person so far has thought I might do the work.)

I think it is crazy how I was shaking from pain this morning, unable to function, couldn't operate my phone, and probably fainted for a hot second and part of me still wants to wonder if I was over-sensitive to reach out for help during that.

This is a sentiment I understand, and sometimes I do want to vent/process.

However, I am also always surprised bc how can I not hear "I am concerned & want you to be well" when my friend says something like "try to eat some iron rich foods today!" in reply to me telling her I'm in pain. ❤️

I have seen a lot of posts say "you might not realize that when [insert personality type/etc.] offers solutions or helps with something they are showing love".

I've also seen "sometimes when I talk, I don't want practical advice."

I am not sure if I will ever understand why handfeeding works better than bowl feeding for appetance...

Why do I always know the obsolete versions of how to spell words? 😂

Going from "oh yes, I misspelled the word" to "oh, I spelled it correctly, just for 100 years ago."

(I could easily sleep on the other mattress, I realize, however I only have one warm winter blanket and I needs it and it is the one doggo is on 😉)

Me: I will keep my comforter off the second mattress so it is clear there is a delineation. Otherwise they will lay on the comforter, and probably spread out over both mattresses.

Dog: I know beds! Obviously only one is finished being made up. I will courteously sleep on the one that has been readied.

Me: ... Yup. I still only have about a square foot of sleeping room now. 😂

Literally me tonight: I really wish I had a new mattress. I can't wait till I get a soft plushy one.
Also me: I'm sooo tired. I'm going to sit on the floor wrapped in a blanket. Ahhh, actually I'm going to lay on the floor while I watch a TV show.
Me to me: .... but you thought your mattress was too hard?
