@Luissen from experience: you only need a jack or lift or team if the plastic barriers are full. Dry ones mass less than 20kg, more with any amount of water or sand in them. Easy to shove into the curb lane.

I make skulls and similar things, primarily using papercraft techniques. Expect gender and fashion introspection here.

Clitorii?
@mcc
Also it makes the tab slightly wider just for the mute button.
@NanoRaptor I've got an old Bell corded dial phone, if that counts.
@artemist
@ra6bit a quick web search pulls up a ton of websites, with your choice of currency and brokering company country (no US-flagged vessels), but any that aren't LLM slop are saying that major freight companies have stopped offering transoceanic berths post-COVID. So I guess it's worth looking into if you want a shorter cruise?
@xssfox
Most-common fail I see in React-based apps is failing to debounce the text input field's onChange method, when that method triggers an expensive update that blocks accepting input for several keypresses.
And having the input field manually set the cursor position, to the start of the input, or to the last known character at the time the setting method was called, which was two characters ago.

Paraphrased, in regards to rainbow capitalism:
“I do not miss the cash-grab Pride displays. I miss the kind of society that made cash-grab Pride displays safe to perform.”
i have a rare condition called metrophilia, i have a sexual fixation with subway trains. which makes it hard to make any progress traveling around the city. every time the doors open, i get off!
JB Weld was found, but it's too cold for proper ventilation and application.
I'll make progress on the mannequin instead. Relatedly, some beautiful people have uploaded entire sets of stormtrooper armor to Thingiverse. That makes my life so much easier.
@0xabad1dea @zorinlynx @kallisti Yeah, it's a known phenomenon that *.domain.tld covers sub-domains but not sub-sub-domains. Not sure why, but it's probably a written-in-blood standard.
I forgot who originally said this but doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is the definition of practicing
The way things are going, I'll make more progress on my mannequin costume than on my Vakama mask this weekend, unless I manage to find the JB Weld
is there a word that is the opposite of a fursona. like if a human would point at their fursona and say "that's my fursona" would would the fursona say if they were aware of the animating human and wanted to describe them in a sentence
Hrm. If I'm going to take a long-distance train ride to get to a certain scifi con, I should definitely make my #GirlGenius #Corbettite monk cassock before July.
@newdarkcloud a decent DOCSIS 3.1 modem costs at least $150 these days, but that product also adds an entire router and Wifi access point, which will usually run you at least $150 for good hardware. Which means you're paying $150 for some shiny plastic.
Off the top of my head, this year's costume projects look like:
- finish sewing an armband for the #TerraIgnota #Servicer costume
- take another stab at the metal mask for #Bionicle's Turaga #Vakama
- a ball-jointed doll mannequin head, as a proof of concept for a head based on K25FF's imposters
- maybe another stab at a #Maratus volans head, this time collapsible for travel
Went with Oni Cowboy for Halloween, but it's not really satisfactory due to how the mask is held on with two shoelaces in an unergonomic style.
