@itsfoss in Sweden you can get a ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD withot OS for ~€140 off. (Or 1400sek)
Question for the "boomers", what was your first *nix experience?
I studied network management on the mid 90s, so for me it was Unix.
And Red Hat.
Linux, on a home computer was a now days dead distro called Knoppix.
HI!
We just released a a new Heroic version with a few fixes (some critical) and some UX improvements.
https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/releases/tag/v2.16.1
Remove "Hypatia"?
Non working, dead/Archived project.
Tried a few different ways....
I always come back to Heroic.
One of the easiest ways to play Window$ games on Linux.
Give it a shot!

@geerlingguy Reminds me, when I tried to get OMW (Open Morrowind) to run on a Pi3. Slideshow galore! ;P
@geerlingguy iDiot?
@geerlingguy Hm, not sure if Apple is made by or for iDiots. =P
@Wishmasterflo if you're on arch, soon. For the rest... Uhm.. next year? (Or when Ubuntu 25.x releases)
@itsfoss it does!... and everything else.
You could also make all backups to dev/null to save time!
@thelinuxEXP Adeptus Mechanicus are awesome! Mostly because they remind me of me... Autism much?
@itsfoss To replace Windows. Not only at home, but also at work.
We have already moved to Linux Mint Cinnamon on most work stations.
Only Windows machines left, are for those that works with specific soft, like Unreal Engine etc.
From now on any new laptop, will be "made for linux" only.
Computers that can't have its uefi/bios/firmware upgraded regardless of operating system, will no longer be something for us.
(Apple products might still be used by a few.)
@thelinuxEXP had no issues with flats. Although, I updated, not new install.
Only issue right now is weak keys for us that wants to validate new krnls
But the weak key issue is ubuntu/cononical, issue, not mint.
@itsfoss I can't find a single new thingy. I either done it my self before, or I just missed it...
But that said, it's as stable as ever!
@itsfoss
Yes, Virtualbox is easy to use. However, it's slow.
Qemu with Virtual Machine Manager, does the same thing, but better.
