Zoom scripts updated to build 88.
If focus is within the calendar area, you can now press ALT+Windows+1 through to ALT+Windows+6 to set focus to the various tabs.
In previous builds, you could only do this in the main Zoom interface.
The reason this functionality has been included is that in later Zoom builds starting this week, when the client is launched, focus is automatically being set to the calendar area.
If you do find yourself in the calendar area, you can now always press ALT+Windows+1 to move to the Home tab so that you are on familiar ground. You can Tab through the options as usual.

Additional tip:
If you find that your contacts have completely disappeared:
1. Find the list of Tabs. Pressing ALT+Windows+1 should set focus there.
2. Arrow right until you reach an item, More Tabs.
3. Activate the Context Menu and select Contacts.
4. Press Enter and you will find Contacts once again is in the list of tabs.

Leasey tip: ChatGPT with Abbreviations.
Don't forget that you can use Leasey Abbreviations alongside ChatGPT.

Let's assume that there are many prompts you regularly give to ChatGPT but they just need adapting in a small way.
1. Create a Leasey text containing text like this:

I will provide a date in the format of day, month, and year. Your task is to return the Top 40 UK Singles Chart for the specified date. You should format it in this order:
Current week position. Artist; song title, new line.
Sample output:
1. ABBA; Dancing Queen.
2. Brotherhood of Man; Save Your Kisses For Me.
The date is
Then include a space character because we will need this later on.
3. Create a Leasey abbreviation based on the text. In this example, you may call it, chart.
4. Open up ChatGPT with the Chat key followed by N.
5. Insert your text by typing the abbreviation followed by Windows key apostrophe.
6. Then in this example, type the date, such as, 18 April 1979.
7. Press Enter and you should get the result returned.

If you create regular prompts for ChatGPT, it's a highly efficient way of reproducing them. #LeaseyLove

Just finished reading the Leasey Sports and Games documentation. If I wasn't looking forward to it before I definitely am now. There's a championship playoff game I'm particularly interested in happening the day after the release which I'll be testing monitoring on even though I'll be listening to it. That'll give me a good feel for the delay between the radio broadcast and Leasey.

2025-05-08

@gtbray Great, we should be even better moving forward.

Scripts for X updated to build 23.

When you use the shortcut key letter L to like a post, JAWS confirms again that the post is liked. That information was previously coming from X but it is now gone so it required scripting.

Prior to its release on Monday, here is the documentation for the new Leasey Sports and Games feature. There is a lot to take in here, so it may be an idea to have it ahead of time so you know what to expect. hartgenconsultancy.com/LeaseyH

2025-05-07

@gtbray It was only four small files so it shouldn't have taken long.
