My column about apps on Mastodon appears in print today. I'm told it did very well on the web after publishing on Friday. It got MANY boosts and Favorites here on Mastodon (thank you!), so I assume that's where a lot of traffic came from. It'll be very interesting to see what kind of print-reader feedback I get via email.

As Deutsche Welle reports, today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the German parliament for the first time focuses on the LGBTQ victims of the Nazi regime.
Some 6 million Jews, thousands of LGBTQ people, minorities like the Roma and Sinti, and physically and mentally challenged people were imprisoned and murdered during the Holocaust.

@clarissawam Oh neat! I never thought of it as having a spiritual interpretation before now, but I can see that.
I think I may be an outlier here, but my initial take is that 'hold space' is akin to 'hold my seat' or 'make room for', eg. 'hold a space' but shorter.
If 1 is completely neutral / no cringe whatsoever, I’m about 3. I’ll wait to share further thoughts until I get some responses.
(Context: I used the phrase yesterday, somebody mentioned it, that got me curious about other takes too!)
