Hmm… XCTest doesn’t give an error on Xcode when the app crashes. On command line it does fail… Luckily CI runs everything on command line, so the smoke test will still work. #iosdev
Working on getting better at hosting and facilitating meetings. Any good blog post or book recommendations out there?

Does Oura now have so weird subscription service too? I have one of the older model rings that I absolutely love, but hesitant to upgrade since now I don’t have to pay anything monthly.

Tram, for when I have time to kill. It's nice to sit down and read a book or watch the city in motion.
Subway when I'm in a hurry.
My daughter told me today she no longer tidies her room, instead she 'resets' it to tidy each Sunday for the week ahead . She said mentally this helps because tidy sounds such a chore while reset doesn't, and the thought that there's a weekly reset means she doesn't feel bad if the room gets messy in the week, because she'll reset on Sunday!
Anyway I thought it was cute and might be useful for someone
I grew up in an observant (devout?) Muslim household. When I questioned my faith, my folks didn't ban books. They encouraged me to read books by Muslims AND non-Muslims—Christian, Jewish, atheist, or other. It was life changing. And it's a message I'm passing on to my children now, and one I hope they pass to their children when the time comes.
Parents: Trust your kids. Ban ignorance—not books.
My first contribution to @icecubesapp@mastodon.cloud should make it in the next version of the app.
So cool to be able to create stuff within the app in a few days!
Thanks to @deanatoire you'll soon be able to open any links on any instance right in @icecubesapp@mastodon.cloud
