This week, @timery turned six! Thank you to everyone who uses the app, is part of the Timery Club, or otherwise supports it. I couldn’t keep doing this and keep improving the app without you. 🙏

I’m nearly finished with the next big update. Working on screenshots and release notes now.

I thought it was fun comparing the App Store screenshots for this update and the screenshots from six years ago. A bit has changed in the app over the years!

App Store screenshots from the upcoming Timery update. Each screenshot shows different views or features of the app. Shown are a grid of saved timer buttons, a list of recent time entries, editing the current time entry, selecting from time-entry suggestions, splitting the current time entry, reports, interactive Home Screen widgets, widgets on the Lock Screen and Live Activities showing the current time entry, and several Timery actions in the Shortcuts app.App Store screenshots from the first version of Timery in 2019. Each screenshot shows different views or features of the app. Shown are a list of saved timers, a list of recent time entries, editing the current time entry with many fewer options than now, editing a project, the saved timers list in dark mode, the old-style iOS widget for Timery with a grid of saved timer buttons, and speaking to Siri to start a saved timer.Side-by-side comparisons of saved timers in Timery and widgets from 2019 and today. The 2019 saved timers are a plain list of start icons and text; the today saved timers are in a two-column grid with a header above showing the time tracked today with a small horizontal bar chart in various project colors. The widget from 2019 is an old-style iOS widget with a grid of saved timer buttons. The today widgets show four widgets. One widget has a grid of saved timer buttons; buttons to start the timer now, minutes ago, or at the last stop time; and buttons to page timers forward and backward. Another widget shows the current time entry with a button to stop it. And two widgets show time tracked today and this week with the total duration, bar charts, and projects tracked.
