@dave Keyboard shortcuts? It's what I use, but it's not excuse. ☹️
Maker, programmer, photographer, and traveler.
I build stuff, mostly #software and #electronics, and mostly #opensource. Early peep at #Mapbox. Co-founded a few other startups back when you had to convince people to use the internet. I hack #VW vans. I really like coffee, pie, and cheese.
Current focus areas: #embedded scripting language design, #baremetal #programming, computer education, #retrocomputing
@jonmsterling Love the take, especially on craft & indies. There's a throws/throes typo though.
@colincornaby @marioguzman Have you guys tried Salsas Locas? Near my old house and my absolute favorite, especially their carnitas. Their habenero salsa is very good, too, if that's your thing.

There's something pretty delightful in performing in such a way that little kids and elder Asian ladies alike completely lose their shit from fruit appearing out of nowhere.
Some fun shots. This was incredibly rewarding, though a ton of work. 😴
Worked up a magic show for my nephew’s 10th birthday, Harry Potter themed. Last time I did any show was his 3rd, so it bore repeating so he could remember it this time. ✨🪄🧙♂️
@romkey The more salient question is: are you going to make ESP32 medallions now?
Making potion base (actually it's anthocyanin, a pH indicator, which will become important later).
@collin Bowline is super handy if you ever want to tie down a tent or tarp shelter.
@dimsumthinking any food class > no food class
@marioguzman @macrumors I got this blank Mail thing last night. Required two force quits of Mail before things started working again.
@collin What about a SEP IRA? You can squirrel away up to a quarter (!) of your income, which you can't do as a full-timer. I used it pretty heavily when I started out ~20 years ago. As well, I did a lot of conference travel and personal education, which I was able to deduct. These days I don't use either as much, but they are there for freelancers.
@atomicbird @somegeekintn I was recently messing around with one of those on loan from @GeekAndDad while playing with an AEK II. I discovered that the battery is related to the power on/off key on the keyboard?
I'm certainly no AI booster, but I really enjoyed this talk by Simon Peyton Jones. I always value learning how things work, so this taught me a lot. https://justinmiller.io/links/rhxjn8ferz/
