Off to Vienna/Bratislava for the second round of conference talks. Looking forward to this one.

I finished Hollow Knight yesterday ( 100%, 2/3 endings). What a game! Loved every second, I'll go back to it for sure.

I tried Axiom Verge today, and it pales so much in comparison it's really souring my enjoyment of it. Maybe I should let both rest for a while.

I've been silent lately because I've been very busy. Mostly, i've been revising a paper I sent to a journal I got a Revise and Resubmit for, but I'm working on a bunch of other things (a talk in June, three other papers...).

Recently I read *The Book of Leviathan* by Peter Blegvad, *Semiosis* by Sue Burke (excellent!), *The Gone World*, and *Dune Messiah*. Next is Wolfe's "Return to the Whorl".

Musicwise, I've been enjoying rook&nomie's *SUPEREGO ROYAL JELLY* and Olden Yolk's lp a lot.

@sixohsix not really, i basically cook them and then make a paste (this is a bit of a pain, but worth it), throw some spices in (garlic, pepper, cayenne powder usually), fried bell peppers and onion, and add some flour (so they stick better). i let them rest a bit before placing them in the pan, but i'm not sure that is strictly necessary.
