Okay, the inner insert is basically done and epoxied together. Next up, whenever I feel like it, is doing some very minor soldering of the loose LED wires on the backside.

My craft has been accepted for the 2025 #DesertBusCraftalong ! I'm honestly about 90-95% done already. Desert Bus Express was a huge help for that. 😁

Most of the minis are already glued and tacked down in this photo. I scuffed up my plexiglass front panel a bit too much, so I cut a new one. I'm down to basically soldering some LED wires together and epoxying everything into the frame insert!

The 4 main Delicious in Dungeon characters glued to a ~8" by 1.25" stonework sheet. The ground has a walking mushroom, a campfire, and assorted ingredients and cooking tools scattered on it.

A solderless breadboard sits in front of the back panel of the diorama, on a table. A handful of tiny wires stick out with LEDs on their ends. A small flat battery pack is also connected.

The back panel of the diorama sits in front of the bottom panel. Characters are starting to be glued to it, and a tiny LED is embedded in a blob of clear epoxy in the top middle window. The dragon eye will sit in front of it.

A wooden star-shaped hanger purchased years ago from Joann's. There is a single peg at the bottom between the two star 'legs'.

Lines have been painted on the hanger to make it look like a star-shaped person. There is a very saucy side-smirk on its face.

Between US Memorial Day, Desert Bus Express, and needing a break from work, I'm taking a 5 day weekend. After a bit of resting, I got the plasticard and polymer clay out to finish door and window details.

Finished gluing together the wall and added a floor! They're separate pieces and will get primed and painted separately for maximum flexibility.

Next up, breaking out the polymer clay to add detail to the wall and one of the upper arches. The eye is going to need a few more passes, but I need to make sure I can sculpt over it cleanly.

Also, wow, there sure are a lot of things with this lion motif. It's probably fine.

@Gulleko When I got to the end of the merch line, I asked for a shirt and then said I was having trouble seeing the small things (like 5 feet away in a dark room; also I'm like 40+ and only one of my eyes gots the cataracts fix lol). So he starts listing things and I hear "dice".
