I spun up a dedicated server for my wife and I to start a playthrough of Enshrouded again. I hadn't touched that game since very early access so imagine my shock when it loaded my first character... male with a big beard.

That last 6 months of egg living, y'all. lmfao.

Anyway, such a fun game! They seem to have tweaked a lot of the jank out since I last played and good lord did it eat my hours yesterday.

Haven’t enjoyed an animated movie that much since Spiderverse. Plus that music? Yeah. No. I’m going to be thinking about this one for awhile.

@faithisleaping true. For some reason I’ve just had really shit luck with it.

Next step is a rebase of bazzite with the AMD driver and then I’ll see how much I can move over to a Linux distribution.

Hopefully I have a better time with AMD than NVidia.

Most tubs feel like they are built for sub 120lb 5’5” people.

New GPU observations:

The 9070xt runs so much cooler than my old 3080 FTW3. I am aware that MH Wilds is a CPU bound game for me, but it's still barely breaking 50C for GPU temp and that's so wild to me. 3080, in most games, would run about 79C with aggressive fan curves.

@68000 went with a Sapphire Pulse 9070xt.

Wanted to make sure we did a little future proofing since who knows what’s on the other side of the price hikes and bubble.

Our PCs are nvidia free and it feels fantastic.
Going to hold on to our 3080s until around the time school gets out then sell them for maximum profit.
