@misty Every first letter of a word on 3rd party keyboards were being capitalized, starting a voice dictation on the Apple keyboard would cause a crash, and the swipe/slide-to-type feature on Apple's keyboard would freeze the app. 🫣

We try our best to answer questions here, but sometimes are unable to. We generally don’t see mentions on weekends and holidays.

@misty Yea we liked it a lot too and a lot of users wanted it for a long time, but who knew it would cause so many other random issues. 😅 We will try to revisit it again when we redo the compose view.
@misty Yes. Unfortunately we had to remove that as it caused a bunch of bugs in the keyboard.
@bkrnk You can via the share sheet. You probably have to configure your share sheet and pin your read later service to the top so it is easily accessible.
@mehltretter This is a limitation of Mastodon itself. Posts in Mastodon get loaded on your own server, and media will eventually get purged from your server which is why you can't see them. When you open the post url, you are actually viewing the post from the originating server which is why the image is still there.
@bkrnk The share menu in a post, or you can hold down on any URL and save it.
@tommythorn Chat apps commonly have new posts appear at the bottom. Social media feeds tend to load from the top.
@tombuildsstuff Unfortunately this stuff is most likely beyond our ability to troubleshoot. TestFlight is kind of a black box and it's hard to troubleshoot these kinds of issues. But definitely will pass this thread to our developers and see if it might be something simple.
@tombuildsstuff Will share this video with the developers, but my guess is it must be related to your system time in some way. Not sure if you have it manually set or configured differently in some way.
I see what is happening, but I really don't think it's related to being a non-US account as we have many users around the world using the testflight version without this issue. But definitely something is going on with yours.
@tombuildsstuff What happens when you go to the subscription page in Ivory and hit the subscribe button?
@tombuildsstuff I don't think that can be true because we'd get hundreds of complaints about it not working. There must be some other reason why it might not be working for you.
@tommythorn New posts will always be on top as that's how most social media sites have worked since forever and our whole architecture is based on that.
For your second issue, read the second part of this article: https://tapbots.com/support/ivory/general/icloud
Ivory is designed to remember your last read position so you don't lose your place. Most users love this and it's what our apps have been famous for. We do plan to offer a way for users to quickly load from the top in the future.
@null Ah some things have changed there. It's also in the share menu. You might have to configure and add it to favorites for it to show up top.
@null Should be able to hold down on any url or post and get a quick option to save.
@null Yea that's intentional. The swipe gesture only ever saved to Apple's reading list. But we will look into why we set it that way and make it work with whatever you have set (if it's not a huge pain for whatever reason).
@tommarmstrong Go to your account settings in ivory and hit the "reset account cache" button.
@danielmunoz We don't have time to micro manage removing people from TestFlight. We've only removed huge groups of people from betas because we had some issues and that was many years ago. We have not removed anyone since the first year when we started Ivory.
@uther Because we can't access another iCloud database from another app even if it's on the same device. Everything is sandboxed.
@filmfreak75 Yea that's all we can do with them at this point.
@danielmunoz We haven't done anything. TestFlight can be weird. Unfortunately we can't provide support for using TestFlight.
