@mitchw On the other hand, people hella need editors
@bookwar Journalists and publications get really attached to a company-centric way of thinking
This is what I get for setting up bridgyapp in every possible direction
On openvibe, I added my threads account, which I haven't actually used or looked at in a while. Threads posts won't appear in my timeline unless the threadsers have opted in to fediverse sharing, which hardly anyone from there seems to do, so
I'm trying out openvibe, which, as advertised, does smush mastodon and bluesky together. It's also really handsome.
@johnmark @johnmark.org 👀
Now the question is, what do you do with what? I've got my bsky, which is main, and it's bridged here, and I've also got my threads acct bridged as well -- actually, I think I bridged it, I lose track...
@evan Totally. When I see these what's more interesting to me is discussion around the question than the questions themselves or the results.
I should have said that to me, a public instance: maybe, perhaps qualified no. An internal instance, definitely yes. I think it'd be a great way to share internal info. I've advocated for an internal mastodon instance at my company, no luck so far though.
@evan heh, don't @ me, got it :)
@evan Would it be internal or public?
@digiwealth_newera It works for some accounts but not others, I can see some fediverse users' posts, but not mine
@jebpages This did eventually come through
@jebpages You can't see my timeline, can you?
@jebpages.com I think that so far, threads is out of the loop
@jebpages Will you see this?
@jebpages @jebpages.com rupturing the timeline continuum
