@ObsidianUrbex It's got a way different vibe from Mastodon. I loved Mastodon too until I tried Bluesky. Lots of artists and queer people and funny people. Easier to use than Mastodon too. The custom feeds are an excellent feature (they're a bit like groups?). I have an invite with your name on it if you want it.

@PennyDash The only thing I've heard about it is that it has DMs and is a little… prudish? Some spicy book authors have said they're not allowed to promote their books on there because of the specific content. :\

@KanaMauna I'm aware. However, Jack Dorsey threw a bunch of cash at Bluesky as an early investor and peaced out. He's not the CEO. He does not run it.

@LornaPeel I still use my personal/local Twitter account very occasionally (mostly for news and stuff) but I'm slowly getting people to migrate over. But I haven't used my pro account in a while and IT FEELS AMAZING.

@LornaPeel I would say similar to here although not many histfic authors. (Not that they're abundant here either.) It's still in private beta so I expect numbers will grow.
