I had the privilege of serving as a judge for the Abdelkader Global Citizenship Prize college contest entries. This experience was truly an honor. #interfaith #pluralism #civicsociety #leadership #citizenship #globalcitizenship www.abdelkaderproject.org

In this reflection, in light of the recent terrorist attack in Magdeburg, Germany, I share insights from my experience as Allianz Visiting Professor at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München a decade ago. The piece explores #interfaith relations, emphasizing the importance of openness in dialog and the need to bridge differences between faith communities. I argue for embracing #pluralism and fostering mutual understanding across religious traditions, drawing on lessons learned during my tenure. @Georgetown University @Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding @John Esposito @Nader Hashemi @Werner Joseph Pich @Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley

I'm excited to announce that during the Spring 2025 term, we will be launching a dedicated Religious Pluralism case study website on the Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University website. It will showcase select case studies by my former students that were originally submitted as class assignments. We have some excellent case studies that are presently being revised. #religiouspluralism #interfaithrelations

Finally had a moment to look at my student evaluations from the three courses I taught during Fall 2022. I am not a perfect teacher, but I am glad students benefited from my teaching. Thank you!
