@c_davies @MichaelAllison I don’t think I can ever forgive you for this

@c_davies @MichaelAllison I don’t think I can ever forgive you for this
@MichaelAllison what happened this time?
It’s 2023 and people are still trying to take their partner through TSA PreCheck even when they don’t have a membership
Hello, again! In light of things once again being Very Bad at Twitter, I’m making another attempt to be more active on here — this time exclusively using @ivory 🐘
My latest on Digital Trends:
Thanks to @tapbots @ivory app, I’m finally ready to ditch Twitter for good https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/tapbots-ivory-mastodon-app-made-me-ditch-twitter-for-good/
This kind of interview is always interesting. #Movano has big plans for its Evie smart ring, going in a different direction to Oura completely. Lots of detail about the upcoming launch in my first big #CES2023 story:

Spirited on Apple TV+ is way too cute and exactly the kind of movie I wanted for Christmas Eve. Def worth a watch!

@alceawisteria Haven’t heard of that one! I’ll have to give it a shot 🙂
It’s still Very Early days for many Mastodon apps, which makes it all the more impressive how damn good so many of them are!
I’ve had a blast bouncing back and forth between all of these, and I really can’t wait to see how they keep growing in the months to come

Mastoot by @libei: This remains my go-to app at the moment. Super stable, good customization options, easy to see who favorites or boosts your posts. Just all around great so far.

Wooly by @mttvll: I’m really liking how much it looks/feels like Twitter. Notifications tab is excellent, and being able to quickly jump to followed tags is huge. Would love to be able to tap the top of the screen to go home, though!

First, @ivory: Lovely UI with gorgeous animations and sounds. But it’s difficult to use without a notification tab, and I wish I could tap on a post to see more details vs swiping

After playing around with a few different #Mastodon apps, I have Some Thoughts:

Last-minute gift ideas, because you procrastinated/are a terrible human:
1. Ham Voucher. Scrawl "free ham sometime" on a slice of pork lunch meat (no more than 35% added water)
2. Printer Recital. Open a beloved inkjet's driver in a text editor & sing the code to the tune of 'Good King Wenceslas'
3. Dryer Lint Nipple Caps. A little wefting makes for winter's perfect foil
4. Attaché Case Of Clams. Regift one of your lesser briefcases, brimming with a briny festive treat
Happy Holidays!

@AndyBoxall I’ve always been curious about watching the Fast and Furious movies (I’ve only ever seen Hobbs and Shaw), but going through that many dumb action movies seems a bit daunting 😅
New website/PWA experience for Mastodon via Elk. https://elk.zone/
It's more like the basic Twitter layout. Nice contrast, push notifications, etc. Pretty nice! #Mastodon h/t @kiko
