A week ago I jumped on a train and took a three hour ride to listen to a two hour piano recital – Mitsuko Uchida played Beethoven Op. 90, some Schönberg, and Schubert D.960 at Gulbenkian in Lisbon.

Her interpretation of the Schubert, especially the unique phrasing that her liberal micro-tempi enable, was insane. You might know her recording from the 90s. This was like that × 1000.

Sweden is <100 votes short of their threshold, Italy’s <10%, Denmark looks achievable. France, it seems, *really* hates conversion therapy, closing in on 10x their required threshold.
