@Sathyabhat I would say, it is best left as it.
The more accessible such places get, more people visit and the beauty is replaced by plastic and unrealistic prices for basic necessities like transport and food.

@Sathyabhat What you have come across is an art (modern) setup which works without GenAI and is completely free!
But yes, any development work is a 10 year project and it is ensured that before that ends a new one is started so that you do not miss having good infrastructure. And finally by the time you get something which you can use, its time to do maintenance on it since it is also 20 odd years since it was built.
@Sathyabhat I am in Bengaluru and miss them, for you it must be harder. So enjoy the snacks, all of them look yummy!
@Sathyabhat Thanks for the info!
@Sathyabhat Those jackfruit chips look good and well made, where did they buy that in Mangalore?
@Datterich I believe there is an OS setting for this under accessibility. For Thunderbird specifically, go to config editor and set layout.testing.overlay-scrollbars.always-visible to true to make the scrollbars to be always visible.
@artfulsodger Termination at MG Road was as a part of planned maintenance as per what I read in the newspaper:
https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/bangalore/partial-cancellation-of-namma-metro-service-on-february-11-between-indiranagar-mg-road-stations-in-bengaluru/article67828665.ece
@raghukamath Completely agree, been using it for over a year and just love it. I know theming option is available but could not find any good themes, do you use any themes which you use other than the default?
@beastoftraal Don't forget - it is just a plan, they did not mention it will be feasible or implementable plan :)
@nitin @thunderbird I am assuming that you might have uncheck the 'Message List Header' option where the cards view option appears.
Goto View menu >> Layout >> Message List Header (Ensure this is checked).
@nitin @thunderbird Are you on v115? Because I do see it.
@dpreacher Agreed, but it is again additional task one has to do just because the designers thought it was a good idea to force people to interact with the bot when they are trying to do something else.
Sites are were filled with adverts and now bots also want our attention, only thing missing our attention is the actual content for which ones goes to these sites.
But I do understand the bigger picture, they need to make money and show RoI for bots.
More and more website's UX is going down the drain due to the new chatbots on the site. It is one thing to have a bot icon at the bottom, but to open it up and force user to close the chatbot every time they visit is just bad bad experience.
With all the hype around GPT4 and such, has anyone tried getting two GPT4 bots to talk to each other? 😀
@snikket_im That's awesome! This will make the whole experience a lot better. Thank you!
@snikket_im I have noticed that when doing an audio call it disconnects if there is a network issue for a fraction of a sec or if I switch networks. Is there a way to change some configuration so that it does not immediately disconnect ?
@MarSolRivas Thanks for all your inputs, it helps a lot. Let me try to find the manual for the system, it is from late 1990's so not sure if I will find it online, and the hard copy which came along with the system is no longer there.
I just did a search and don't see the model listed online, but something which looks same (different model) in international markets says:
Maximum input power: 20W
Impedance: 8 ohms
@MarSolRivas Thank you! My knowledge around amp's is nill. So it would be of great help if you can point me to a basic amp product name which can accept the red and black wires, I did a search and ended up with lots of products, but do not know what to filters these by so as to get to ones which can take the red and black wires.
Any audiophiles here? I have an old stereo system (CD+Cassette) with detached speakers which have a red and black wires (exposed) which had to plugged into the back of the stereo system (see a representation image attached).
I want to reuse the speakers with laptop/mobile by connecting via some sort of adapter (or amp or whatever else is required). Does any have any thoughts or references on how to get this done and how much it may cost (note: I have no electrical/hardware knowledge)
Wow! I fell for the deception in the name "Whole wheat marie" with 52% refined wheat flour and only 19% whole wheat!!!
Surely, they are not fully wrong since it contains whole wheat as an ingredient and they may argue a chocolate chip cookie only has a small amount of chocolate chips and this is similar.
But what ever it is, this is surely intentionally misleading the consumers.
