The set we did at the Radio Stall at Birmingham Rag Market is online now. This was such an honour. I've always said that I DJ to serve the people and it was so nice to do that in such a historic place for me. Would love to do more things like this. Performing a live score during the screening of Dorothy Towers in Brighton next week, Thu 16 Nov at 8pm.

"This is the story of the legendary Clydesdale and Cleveland Towers, residential blocks in the centre of Birmingham. Completed in 1971 as a social housing development, the towers are located adjacent to Birmingham’s Gay Village.

Shot on 16mm, the film explores the complex relationship between architecture, community and memory. It features testimonials from residents and explores ideas of queer kinship and inheritance alongside experiences of HIV/AIDS in the 1980s/’90s. Dorothy Towers frames the buildings in a continuum of history that extends back to the city’s post-war redevelopment via its modernist underpasses and nightclubs.

This screening will be accompanied by a live score, composed and performed by Sean Burns and Lai Power.

Sadly a lot of things in my studio are slightly but somehow I manage to crank out some nice sounds.

Was working on some film music late last night in my songwriting studio. Cranked out 60 tracks of audio. It's for a new film called Doctor XYZ which is funded by thr NHS and primarily aimed at educating healthcare professionals about trans healthcare. Super awesome project and team. Hoping we can make a real difference with this one.

My songwriting studio. It's a corner of a blue walled room. There is a microkorg and a midi keyboard on stands. Mackie monitors on stands. A laptop, a Maschine+ and a tube compressor that isn't on.

Recording will be posted later.

Forget to post but Energy Flow is playing at a stand in Birminghan Rag Market today till 16h UK. First of many i hope!

Wow I think I've just moved on to a whole new awesome plane of DJ praxis.

Combining the record digging with the digital gas changed everything. I'm finding such weird records. I'm playing music from all around the world in so many different languages. It's cosmic no borders shit.

Hopefully I am able to bring some healing to this world in my own small way. Dancing together is so cathartic. Recorded music is like time travel. Time travel for the people.
