I got tired of the coffee machine turning off before I went to get my second cup, so I made a clock that alerts me if the kitchen has been empty for 50 minutes. Only took about 20 months…
Blatantly copied the #tidbyt design. I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

@badnetmask @surefire I’ve been able to get lux value unstuck by shining my phone torch directly at it from about 3 cm away. Happens occasionally

@tj I've an led strip and motion detector under the bed to give a low level light if I have to get up during the night

@jerzone I recently put a sonoff humidity sensor in the vent out of the tumble dryer to notify me when the clothes were dry. Working well so far.
