The drama

Seeing lots of CEOs and leaders say they take responsibility when doing layoffs. But where are the leadership salary cuts. Saying “I take responsibility” without facing consequences is… just empty words.

It’s 2022 and I still spot tons of sites for which Google is rewriting titles that perform worse (CTR) than the title they specified in the code.

First, stunning how many sites don’t event know their titles are being rewritten.
Second, I’m surprised Google hasn’t reverted or improved title rewriting.

@vorticoncmdr Fair point! not a critique of @jroakes. I guess my point is that Mastodon relying on great people like JR to keep a community running is a potential hurdle for its growth.

So far, I’m not convinced of Mastodon. Regular server outages and photo uploads are failing :-/.
