The Legend of Zelda for NES was the only Zelda game I ever played as a kid. I loved the gold cart but it was always a bit too confusing for my kid self. I never beat it until I finally played it for this review. I loved it. The graphics are good, the music is limited but iconic, and solving the puzzles without a guide or Google made the experience so much more fun. Now I’m hooked on the series. Currently playing Ocarina of Time.

I gave The Legend of Zelda 4 ⭐️s out of 5 and stand by that score still.
