@Yucca Nice capture! Thanks for writing a whole story around it as well. Really enjoyed reading that.

@voxpelli.com Got almost 30k of bookmarks. Paying for Raindrop right now and hoping it will last for a bit cause Iām so tired of moving around.
@arcturus So cool! Good job both you and the gull!
If you or someone you know is looking for senior front end or full stack expertise, Iād be grateful for a referral.
Full-time, part-time, consulting... all good!
@idzie Thanks for the link! Really interesting!
@enzo Thatās a really cool moment you captured there. Well done!
@hukl Have you tried Insomnia?
Personal news, as of June 9th I'll be freelancing full time. Most of my time will go to working on Friend in Store (https://www.friendinstore.com) and building my tiny house, but I'm open to inquiries if you need help with web or iOS development :)
This fall Iāll (hopefully) be starting architecture studies at Chalmers University in Gothenburg! š
@GPJohnston They are really cool birds and Iām so happy I got to see one! I know most people just hear them.
@flaki Oh wow! š¤©
@idzie Bird accents are definitely a thing! Try to see if there are any local recordings from your area.
A thing that I find annoying is that many apps doesnāt list where the bird sound is recorded which, depending on the bird, might be crucial info.
@helenclayton Itās not the only name that is confusing though. There are so many.
And I often come by people who think they can directly translate a bird name from English to Swedish which almost never works. Itās especially frustrating in translated books. š
@helenclayton Itās always weird to me that these are called stonechat in English. Stone in Swedish is sten and we do have a bird called stenskvƤtta but that is a wheatear, this one is called buskskvƤtta. Buske is bush in Swedish.
So every time I see someone mentioning stonechat I have to think twice. š
Got to share the sound too!
(FYI this āsongā is what Iāve been listening to daily for the past weeks in an attempt to memorize it.)

As can any good accessibility test tool. No āAIā needed. Itās like three clicks in Polypane. And it gives me hard information, not āhalucinatedā text that might or might not be correct.
Thereās a lot that can be automated. This is not it.
@stubacon Thank you! It did!
First time seeing and hearing a wryneck today.
Been working hard for this, visiting several different spots where there might be wrynecks and today it finally paid off.
Happy! š„°
