#DontWorryDarling couple lives in a company town in Victory. the women are all perfectly compliant, and the men work on a secret project. Alice notices things are wrong, and starts to doubt her own sanity. Truth starts to break through. Lot of subtext and layers. Some great shots. Safety vs captivity. Gaslighting. Manipulation. Control. Choice? Interesting. Wonder if film was unfairly maligned because of threatened male egos? ๐Ÿคต ๐Ÿ™โ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿธ

Bit clever using COVID pandemic footage at the beginning to suggest global zombie epidemic, although did it really need to give credit to the world leaders? And then 5 minutes of opening credits that dragged on forever. Kind of went downhill from there. ๐ŸงŸโ€โ™€๏ธ

#DeadAgain rural cops fight off alien invasion zombies in a rundown manor house. aspires to be Shaun of the Dead but not even close. Aliens wtf! Annoying red filter. Terrible drum and bass music. Ok attempts at witty banter, but no real chemistry. Cheap. Shambolic. Avoid. ๐ŸงŸ

Cops backed against the wall with zombies behind them. Reminiscent of Shaun of the Deads poster.

#Volition James can see future. He sees his death, tries to change it. Gets twisty once time travel results in multi-James. Interesting ideas but slow to get moving. Own internal logic doesnโ€™t hold up. Ending paradoxical. Liked how story changes as other elements interfere. ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’‰

Not sure why people are beating up on #Picard for nostalgia. The whole reason we kept coming back was hope that weโ€™d get the relationships sparking again. Itโ€™s the whole reason the original movies were so good. We were there for that crew. So Iโ€™m totally here for Picard getting the band back together.

#PicardS3 so far is exactly what I wanted from this show. A continuation with the TNG family. Loving the classic music and the nods to a more nautical Starfleet. Riker and Picard road trip buddyโ€™s vibe. Bevโ€™s mystery and kicking ass. Canโ€™t wait for the rest of them to show up.
