At last I've achieved the fabled "under certain complex microarchitectural conditions"
Making things blink in the liminal space between work and exhaustion

I still failed to find a permanent home for these old manuals. Fedi has grown a bit in the interim. Any takers?

As is traditional, I am celebrating π day by sparing a few moments to chuckle over how silly τ is
@azonenberg @cccpresser 0.4 but long pads https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/epc/EPC8009/4990585
Could have a little switch mode for funzies.
I think having a dev board you've done some rework on makes people more likely to use it
@azonenberg @cccpresser I mean yeah I think that's absolutely a good idea
@azonenberg the H7s are just really nice all around
@azonenberg ECP5-12F used to fit this bill but they've hiked prices and reduced availability :/

the Glasgow Interface Explorer project's new LLM policy:
We do not accept contributions where code was generated partly or in whole using LLMs. These tools are designed to be extractive and place an unreasonable burden on OSS maintainers, both on the level of individual pull requests and for the ecosystem as a whole. If you didn’t bother writing it, we won’t bother reading.
@pinskia LLMs are a horrific form of the "bootstrapping problem": Taking the current set of tools we have for granted, as if the knowledge required to construct those tools in the first place is a given.
@whitequark It gets you better rolls for the teams lootboxes
It's very thoughtful of them to have chosen a small prime, too. Great for demonstrating simple hash functions.
I switched from my normal 35 mm lens to an old manual nikon 85 mm lens and got the effect I was looking for
Was doing the photography for our practice picket yesterday; pretty happy with this shot
RT if you want a CLEAR statement about AI from all GNU/Linux distributions and are ready to quit any distribution that is ok with integrating AI slopware.
I resent LLMs for making me empathize with the people who are aggressively anti-systemd
@tnt @azonenberg @yannsionneau Do you have a way to poll RXCDRLOCK (Assuming this transciever is GTH shaped)
