You said it's a chaos and it's all a mess, this happened before ( see Privacy attribution ) and before ( see Mr Robot Extension ) and people told Mozilla that one of their biggest problems is communications, yet here we're again!! What if the chaos they're making is by design, move fast, cause confusion, grab what you can.. this isn't a new thing, people make their money at times of collapse so why can't Mozilla

This might sound like conspiracy theory - but I love conspiracy theories :) -

They want your data (which you grant them license too) to train their Ai, think about it.. every other Ai company has done something to make their Ai special in some way, every Ai answers questions differently, can you think of an Ai who knows how humans interact with the web and what they search for, what they look at, how long they look at it... Etc... enter Mozilla Ai, the Ai that knows Internet users.. That's a good sell, the US government would love that..

Also the section were they said, we don't sell your data ( not in the way that most companies do at least ), that's was it for me

Ad company = Check
Ai company = Check
Vague TOS and statements = Check & Check
Government ties = Check
Selling data = not like others do ..... yeah.. Check

Off course, keep in mind that governments who claim they're democracies will say something around these lines: "we're investigating this "terrorist" group, help us by giving us data.. etc" they don't phrase it like this.. But that's how it goes

@trafotin@vt.social Shame, Odysee was the most accessible to me, I always had trouble with Peertube because it syncs content at the highest quality possible ( 1080p usually ), and with my shitty internet speed, it's literally impossible for me to use that service...
