Thanks to @phparch for sponsoring Longhorn PHP 2025 at the Plant num level! We're grateful for multiple years of their support, on top of running their own conference ( @phptek ). If you're in the market for PHP staff augmentation...or a monthly magazine with high-quality information relevant to building better with PHP...they're the right place to turn.

As folks who've attended @merge probably already know, we're back for 2025! Mark your calendars (and buy your Blind Bird tickets at longhornphp.com) for Thursday-Saturday, October 23-25 at Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, and submit your presentation topics to cfp.longhornphp.com.

We're excited to bring the conference back for our sixth (and PHP's 30th) year, and hope all y'all will join us, in-person or online.

@laurin1 Short answer: yes, it's happening. Same general time of year. Will be signing things with the venue soon.

So, Laracon is in Texas this year.

Instead of having two PHP/PHP-adjacent conferences in Texas in the same year, we're taking a year off, and throwing our weight behind @cascadia in Portland, Oregon.

That's right. The Pacific Northwest is getting a PHP conference for the first time since 2019!

Dates are October 24-26 (Thursday-Saturday), and their CFP is open now at cfp.cascadiaphp.com. Sign up for their mailing list at cascadiaphp.com/registration to know when ticket sales go live!

I wasn’t able to be “at” LonghornPHP that much, but I was able to give my talk, and the feedback has been very flattering.

I am sorry I haven’t been able to be around much, but I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain and fatigue issues. Had to take care of myself — and that’s the whole point of my talk, so I guess it makes sense.

I am glad I was able to make it here and give the talk. Thanks so much for the opportunity #LonghornPHP
