I just walk by a #hairdresser saloon advertising a new scalp collection…. That is a little macabre to advertise your scalp collection… also pretty sure that is illegal to collect in #europe !!!!!

@Patricia [Sarcasm may appear] To cheer you up, you should go and read Survilance Capitalisme by Shoshana Zuboff
Its a fantastic book, I only put it a side when it makes me depressive and ready to destroy the tech industry... So only every three pages or so.
@hacrods So like, what I am working on now does is:
- Cron job that download log files
- Extract relevant data from the log files
- Make statistics on errors, faults, failures, and recovered experienced in a system
- Make a Report based on the statistics (including generating a pdf and a tiny website)
- Publish report
- Compare to last report
- Publish the comparison
- Send (email) notification for failures on level X to relevant personal
So nothing complex
Today I finished reading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett. It was my first Terry Pratchett book.
Here's a quote.
"What kind of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.”
Inside every QA tester there are:

@ross True hmm maybe there isn’t a better solution
@ross Agreed I would to inherit make, make-install instead of just defaulting to make also

It is terrifying to me that Dane’s are almost praying for #rain I don’t recall this long a dry spell during #spring #climatechange
@ojs No no not it. They send a link to google maps with their address plotted in. But that means when I try to mark the address it opens a google maps link. Which first takes me to maps.google.com and the because google are dicks! Tries to take me to the App Store to get me to download the google maps app
#grumpy i would love if people stopped sending me links to google maps when I ask for their address
