A version of Missile Command for the Commodore 64 where the bottom of your screen is the game state in memory and missiles cause memory corruption, which eventually causes you to lose: https://csdb.dk/release/?id=135463.
In the video below, a missile broke my controls and caused my cursor to move down and to the left so I couldn't stop other missiles.

@fractilegames Agree! Unicorn Overlord which I’ve played recently has this and I didn’t like it.. But I managed to enjoy it anyway. Would’ve liked a way to turn it off though 😄

I’ve been on the lookout for a portable emulator device with hardware buttons for a while, and on a whim I placed an order for a Miyoo Mini Plus. What I received turned out to be an entirely different brand and model (Anbernic RG35XX Plus) which was a bit disappointing, but it seems to work so far! So now I’m replaying Diablo 1 (PS1 version). I’ve replaced the stock SD cards which seems to be a regular point of failure, but we’ll see how long it lasts as the build quality is fairly poor..
I’ve been using Git for about 15 years now. It’s probably the only constant development-wise since then, and hard to see how I’d do without now as I’ve become so used to it. I can safely say that I do not miss the old days of centralised version control systems!

While trying out the Trials of Mana demo I noticed to my surprise that you can set both voice and text to Japanese! I might play this game just for the practice 👍
Frankensteined around with some Makefiles this weekend. Still a bit of a mystery to me how they work, and I didn’t quite get the result I wanted so maybe it’s time to finally learn what’s behind all that black magic.

Not much dev done this weekend. Working fulltime as a consultant leaves very little room for anything else. Still it’s nice to know that there’s definitely no lack of ideas or ambition, only energy.
