But the single largest JS file is a binary encoding of IP ranges to countries, to the tune of 338K on the wire (1.3MB unzipped), *AND IT PULLS IN A TRANSPILED NODE BUFFER IMPLEMENTATION*:

I’m using https://github.com/tdewolff/minify, which is orders of magnitude faster than Terser. Comparison: https://github.com/tdewolff/minify?tab=readme-ov-file#compression-ratio-lower-is-better

The plugin is fast enough to run directly as a middleware handler. I’ve added a middleware setting to enable or disable it.
