@russss perfect, thanks
The artist formerly known as @MatthewHarrold on the Bird site.
Still not entirely sure if I'll be sticking around here long term , but I guess you can follow me here until the latest hotness emerges.
@russss perfect, thanks
@russss Where do you get the nicotine base from in sizes larger than 10ml? I gave up on flavoured a while ago due to a sensitivity to something and it being a pain to get hold of lists of ingredients...
Heh, I replied on twitter suggesting the Alphapoc clones on AliExpress.
I've not done any paging yet but as I've got radios and sound interfaces on the "bench" I might try it soon
This is amazing, thank you. If it can listen on TCP then people could connect from the BBCs via Wifi modem.
Likewise @glasstty might be able gateway to it from Telstar, which has actual phone numbers to call into via modem as well as IP access
@astrid It is rather cute. I had no idea it existed until it popped up on a saved search for Plessey.
Does anyone know anything about the Plessey Vutel? I don't have much to go on, other than its a Viewdata / Prestel terminal from ~1982.
Judging by the lack of info or examples, and an advert selling them off cheap a few years after release I'm guessing they weren't too popular.
@samw Yes please
The new after school club requires a password to collect your child and I can't decide between "5tt#C3%XS8ZwcE$A" or "Blue Horseshoe Loves Anacott Steel"
@lpbkdotnet Interesting, any indication it might be used in a shop or a coach or somewhere with a more captive audience?
These are great. So many pages I've not seen before!
Also this viewdata film is new to me https://bt.kuluvalley.com/view/I9tnOFRRssI
BT Archives have added a lot more video content since the last time I checked, including this 1979 “radio rentals” film about #prestel

It’s 22mins long, and worth a look if you haven’t already seen it!
Still getting my head around ALSA audio and googled something, found some fine chap asking the same question. Alas it was me, 5 years ago. And I never did get a decent answer 😂
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Except me. Faffing around with ALSA, questioning my life choices.
Thanks both for your work on this, exciting stuff.
Please put me down for one if you'll have spares 🙂
Businesses that don't advertise their Christmas opening hours can get in the sea.
@JoshMurray Literally couldn't believe it the first time I saw one, and that must have been 7 years ago. You'd think it'd be wireless charging now or something.
