A two-panel meme with German text:

Top panel: A person with a RAL color fan deck as their head waves next to a blue car. Text reads, "Willst du wissen welche Farbe dein Auto hat?" (Translation: "Do you want to know what color your car is?")

Bottom panel: An older man with a puzzled expression responds, "RAL Schuhmacher?" — a pun combining "RAL" (a color standard) with the German surname "Schuhmacher," mimicking confusion with "Ralf Schumacher," the Formula 1 driver.

When someone mentions swastikar's autopilot:

Scene from Wall-e with the ship's captain and over his shoulder, "Auto" the autopilot, an ominous ship's wheel with red glowing eye in the center, the spitting image of HAL 9000 from 2001 Space Odyssey. Conveniently Auto also has a vertical separation running just slightly off-center through the eye socket, not unlike Bond villains who invariably had lost an eye from a dueling accident.

This is what I think of every time I see Microsoft Co-Pilot mentioned:

Otto, the inflatable co-pilot from Airplane!/Flying High!

@lemming IIRC the spinny thing on top is indeed using an IR-beam to scan the environment.

So in theory I would say: Yes, it is possible that the AC detects it as "Turn on" command... But for that the IR-sequence must be some really simple command like 11111 (since 1 when the beam hits the device, 0 when it rotates away; 1111 since we have a constant rotation and thus "blinking" sequence...)

Erinnert Ihr Euch ans Rainbow Nicht-Cookie Banner*?

Let's keep it simple: If I wanted to send the GetVersion command (0x60), I would usually use FF:00:00:00:01:60 - but that's apparently not supported.

Doing FF:9B:00:00:07:12:07:01:60:FF:FF:00 (Simple Protocol Command, Length 7; ISO14443_3_TDX, Length 1, GetVersion, MaxRXByteCnt: FF, Timeout: FF00) will get 9000 - but no data (working with a virgin Mifare Ultralight AES or Mifare Classic 1k card)

Has anyone experience in using Elatec TWN encoders in PCSC/CCID-mode to transmit arbitrary payloads?

I tried using the tried and true 0xFF 0x00 0x00 0x00 [data.len] [data] and Variations thereof - but without sucess.

I even tried using the "virtual card" in reader slot 1 encapsulate a TDX-command of the "Simple Protocol". That does work in theory (9000)- but doesn't yield any results. And it kinda makes the whole talking to the "PCSC/CCID compliant reader" kinda pointless...

@scy PHP and Cobol backend, both bidirectional bridged (so that both environments can access boths functions), with a sprinkling of extJS frontend.
