@cjwirth and yes, you'll have to build the graph of types yourself, but at least this tool produces semantic information with resolved types, unlike tools utilizing only Swift Syntax would do.

I'd love for it to become more popular. To me, personally, the lack of a mobile, but especially an AndroidTV app that can follow submissions on multiple instances, was always kinda a dealbreaker for me to use it regularly.

BUT I love the project and want it to succeed so we have a better YouTube alternative!

🇺🇦 До речі, в 2022 Філдсівську медаль — найпрестижнішу нагороду для математиків — отримала українська науковиця Марина В'язовська. Це друга медаль, яку присудили українським вченим, а Марина — друга в історії премії жінка, яка її отримала.

Математикиня навчалася на механіко-математичному факультеті КНУ ім. Шевченка в Києві і сьогодні працює у Федеральній політехнічній школі Лозанни в Швейцарії. Нагороду їй присудили за розв'язок задачі з пакування куль та її внесок у математику.

Ми тоді розпитали українську науковицю про кулі, 24-вимірний простір, українську школу, і звичайно, як не боятися математики.

The library should be buildable in this state with Embedded Swift SDK for WASI, but there's more work to be done to ensure further compatibility and provide documentation, example code etc https://github.com/swiftwasm/WebAPIKit/commits/main/

Swift SDKs for WebAssembly are now available on swift.org for 6.2 and `main` development snapshots!

Huge announcement for me personally, this is something I could only dream of when almost 7 years ago I joined a few volunteers maintaining a patchset trying to add support for Wasm to Swift. A tremendous amount of effort from many people was put into polishing, upstreaming, and testing these changes. I'm grateful to everyone who helped and provided feedback 🙇

@partizan TS ліцензовано під Apache 2.0, тому це без переліцензування неможливо, і звичайно одразу ж спричинить розгалуження, навіть якби такий сценарій трапився. Взагалі прецедентів такого для мов програмування не пригадую, і в майбутньому уявити важко. Для мов вся суть в екосистемі (бібліотеках та інструментах), без користувачів це все помирає і втрачає сенс. Не кажучи вже про те, що TS — це мова для (за визначенням) відкритої мережі, база якої (ECMAScript) є відкритим стандартом.
