@aeva sometimes in a situation like this i volunteer "If the bug is in some other program I would be happy to file it there, but I need enough information to explain to them the problem."
@aeva This is a situation where I would begin by just filing on SDL3 because if the bug is somewhere else, they would be able to tell you where with more accuracy than you could work it out yourself.
Has this ever happened to u https://neuromatch.social/@jonny/115721275514848524
@emaytch The thought only originally occurred to me because I had him mixed up with Wittgenstein but when I looked into it there seems to be some evidence Schophenhauer was into dudes and frustrated about it, there's some writing where he's like "yes obviously men have attraction to other men, it doesn't mean anything, it's just due to the excess intensity of desire in the human soul"
@emaytch what if he was only saying that because he was gay and frustrated he couldn't come out of the closet. what if if he'd lived in post-AZT San Francisco he'd have been pretty cheery
@Dervishpi BTW I would like to recommend "The Expert System's Brother"
@griotspeak Super Moth Black Rainbow?
@onelson BTTF 2/3 were my favorite movies as a kid¹ and although I definitely always thought 2 was the good one I didn't really distinguish them
¹ well, maybe except for The Wizard.
@onelson I don't like it the way I like the others, but I think I like it more than the first. From an artistic perspective I admire that the 2/3 arc is kind of "here is a movie where a lot of different stuff happens" followed by "here's a slower paced movie where a small number of things happen but are given room to breathe". it's very clear that 1 is one self contained story and 2/3 were written and shot together, marty has one narrative arc reaching over the two
When the Simple Machines Forum software breaks it prints an error message beginning with "Sorry, SMF", which is reasonable because that's the name of the software, but if you don't know that it appears to be telling you to "Suck My Fuck"
@Dervishpi I think the science Tchaikovsky is most interested in addressing in a "hard" way is sociology

Sometimes when I complete reading a book by Adrian Tchaikovsky, I stop and ask myself: Is England okay? And it's a very silly question to ask myself because at that moment I've just completed reading an entire book in which Adrian Tchaikovsky explains to me that England is not okay
