I made a Minecraft mod as a surprise Valentine's gift for my partner :neocat_heart:

(it was worth learning Java and NeoForge in under 3 days, maybe I'll add more features and publish it in the future)

I want to make a small, cute desktop app for funsies with HTML & JS for the frontend. So, I looked into Electron alternatives and stumbled upon Tauri. Is this what will finally push me to learn Rust? 🦀 :blobcatsweat:

Such a fun and interesting take on the classic Minesweeper game: Dragonsweeper. Took me a couple hours but I finally got the perfect score yay! I hope the dev will continue developing the game and add more/bigger levels. :ablobcatrave:

@Chip_Unicorn I think they're looking for a more senior SWE with system design experience, which I don't have haha :neocat_laugh_sweat: Well, maybe in the future I can reapply or they have something more close to my current skills~

UPDATE: I didn't get the job! They said they are looking for a more specific skillset that I don't have, so they're moving forward with other candidates, which is fair. BUT they said I left a strong impression on the recruiter who talked to me. So that's a big W for me! Yay! :ablobcatrave:
