@mikestevens @moshidon megalodon always just used the official mastodon app's notification service by default, so it's probably that (you could try using UnifiedPush instead tho)

Meanwhile, the admin responded and clarified the situation. It was a configuration mistake. #antifa was auto blocked because of spam (if I got this correctly?) and #NoAfD basically for the same reason. The latter, however, wasn't resolved that fast because it has never been reported. Which is believable because it's super German specific.

UPDATE: fixed, both hashtags should work again on floss.social

Seems that https://floss.social has marked the #antifa hashtag as forbidden fruit on their instance since quite some time. It's not the first weird thing I hear about that instance.

UPDATE: Also #noAfD, the hashtag used in Germany to oppose the far-right AfD party.

@iThreepwood I am porting both the Megalodon and Moshidon features to a more up to date base. Both me and @megalodon made mistakes on code management and git commits that made maintaining/rebasing a complete pain.

That pain made Megalodon stop maintaining its code, and made me start rewriting Moshidon on top of Mastodon for Android.

Tldr: forks are complicated, and yes, I am going to rebase on Mastodon for Android
