@0xabad1dea this is one of my favourite pieces of email trivia!
@Thayer ugh, that's not great. Much as I despise using money as a proxy for ethics, isn't this going to be too expensive to roll out, given the rewards? That's what usually seems to stop these massive overreach projects...
@aral I used to work somewhere that made multihead graphics cards, and sometimes used the 4x4 test rig. Losing the mouse pointer on those 16 screens was a fairly regular and mildly annoying occurrence!
Still, you are some way off that. Get another screen...
@misty That's a really weird inversion. Instant availability is very cool etc. but the flip side is instant unavailability. That's harder to achieve with actual physical media, which is why I'm struggling to square that with the label "lost"!
@jonty @natbuckley I like the name! It took me a moment, but I got there!
@neil I'm amused/disappointed by the level of cynical self awareness needed to call something like this Humphrey publicly
@Thayer Congratulations! Whatever you find out in 2+ months, you've already achieved something great!

I am starting a new project, it is A Newsletter, and it is About Tech, but it is a very different tech newsletter.
