@jon_valdes at least it doesn’t include “match 30 players” or similar ..

2) it’ll be great, @joeldevahl :)
Many studios are switching to Unreal, but many have also doubled down even harder on their own technology.
ioi with Glacier, Remedy with Northlight, Guerrilla with Decima, I think we just hear about it less in the news, but custom engines are still booming. And more tool designers are being hired!
Only a few days till REAC is here - register, log in, and soak in all the rendering architecture goodness!

Talk about the details of your pipelines, what are the different workflows - what's good, bad, and ugly about them, including things like debug workflows, data processing for rendering nd so much more. Your hard-earned lessons from the experience of engine-making, experiments, successes and failures - all the topics that are fundamental to our craft, but hardly feature in traditional computer-graphics venues, are welcome.
Our mission is not just to bring you the latest and greatest in there renderer engine architecture for games and other real-world productions. But we also really want you to share about your design decisions, what were the architectural choices driven by product decisions or other elements of your production. How did it work out? What were the learnings?
We are organizing another Rendering Engine Conference again - June 10 & 11th, virtual, free and open to all.
See more here: https://enginearchitecture.org/2025.htm
Today, call for submissions is open - we look forward to hearing from you!
