We encourage applications from adjunct, part-time, and full time professors and staff from a range of disciplines and institution-types. We especially seek applicants from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Native-Serving Institutions, and community colleges
We seek projects that incorporate historically marginalized knowledges, with a particular focus on projects that go beyond providing free course materials to those that actively engage students as co-producers of open, public-facing resources.
Applications are now open for the Open Education Publishing Institute: Collaborative Knowledge and Social Justice, a summer 2024 NEH Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities institute. Come work with us on your OER materials!
@EMGrumbach @Sarah_Florini @drericaoneil Thank you!!
@EMGrumbach @Sarah_Florini @drericaoneil Congratulations!
@jeffjarvis @mkirschenbaum Well said, Jeff. Congratulations, Matt!!!!!
This could not be more deserved. @mkirschenbaum is, as I know personally, a most generous scholar, who brings rigor, insight, and wit to his work: distinguished, indeed. Good move, UMd.

@nabsiddiqui @ayliu @mirijb @kfitz there is some stuff — definitely not a protocol, but hopefully useful info — in Digital Pedagogy in the Humanities— https://digitalpedagogy.hcommons.org/ . It’s organized by keyword and can also be explored via search.
Here is a search for “ethics” - https://digitalpedagogy.hcommons.org/search/Ethics , which brings up, among other resources, Kevin Smith’s “Guidelines for Public, Student Class Blogs: Ethics, Legalities, FERPA and More” with an annotation by Jeff McClurken
RIP Sinead O’Connor. My favorite song of hers is her haunting rendition of Elton John’s “Sacrifice,” with its transcendent crescendo. Never fails to give me the shivers. https://youtu.be/FWa-aMiqQKE
Delighted to announce the publication of "Network+Publication+Ecosystem: Curating Digital Pedagogy, Fostering Community" ideah.pubpub.org/pub/qw0z19ss with @mkgold & Rebecca Frost Davis
Best thing I ever did was saying yes to this long-standing and incredible collaboration with these 2.
