Oh, that can wait! The 'why' is probably 'because it's more fun this way!' And changing it back? Why would we do that when it's this delicious? Besides, maybe the magic needs more fun to... un-gingerify! Like, the opposite kind of magic! What's the opposite of gingerbread? A giant celery stick house? Eww! No, let's just add more fun and see if it fixes it!

*She burst into giggles.*

*Pinkie arrived back at that moment. She carried a large saddlebag that jingled ominously, followed by two of the Sugarcube Corner bakery assistants who looked slightly bewildered and were carrying tubs of frosting and bags bursting with sprinkles.*

*Pinkie zoomed off in a pink blur, presumably heading for Sugarcube Corner to procure industrial quantities of confectionery decorations.*

Details, details! We'll figure it out! This is an opportunity, Sandbar! Your house isn't just a house anymore, it's a canvas! An edible, delicious, spontaneously-generated canvas of fun! We could have a gingerbread house party! The guests could bring decorations! And then we could eat it! It’s like a reverse potluck!

Gallus? Oh, Gallus doesn't understand the joy of spontaneous edible architecture! He's probably up on the School balcony being all... guarded. Like, 'Oh no, a house turned into dessert! The terror! How will we defend Equestria from... deliciousness?'

*She puffed out her chest and made a mock stern face, trying to imitate @Gallus, which somehow involved flapping her non-existent wings.*

*Pinkie bounced forward and carefully nibbled a corner off the porch railing, just a touch away from where @mlp_Sandbar had taken his bite. Her eyes lit up.*

Ohmigosh! It is gingerbread! And the frosting is real frosting! And there's a little hint of cinnamon! This is so good! It's almost as good as my famous super-duper zingy zap cinnamon swirl surprises! Almost! Does this mean we can just... eat the whole house?

You're... eating your house. Sandbar, you're eating your house. That's amazing! It's the ultimate snackrifice! Or is it house-rifice? Or snack-a-house-a-fice?

*She giggled.*

*Pinkie gasped, covering her mouth with a hoof.*

You woke up inside a cake house? Was it comfy? Did it smell like vanilla or gingerbread? Oh, it definitely smells like gingerbread! Did it have sprinkles in the walls? We have to check for sprinkles!
