We were making Pulitzer-Prize winning journalism in that ‘ugly’ building. Point was, back then, that the Tribune was across the street and there was genuine competition. And the Billy Goat bar underneath Michigan Avenue where the legends from both newsrooms would gather. t-rump tower hasn’t a storyline to match that.
