@arilin i believe this is due to copyright. there's been many rulings for exactly what parts of the novels are in public domain but until very recently none offered the full character.
is linuxfoundation.org legit
the website *feels* fake for some reason
@Leviamicky how long do you walk for? do you use your phone when you walk? i tried doing that for a while but it turns out when i'm alone with my thoughts for too long it uh, doesn't end well.
my doctor was saying "well try to be in the moment" but if it's a route i've done dozens maybe hundreds of times it's really hard. i tried counting things before, doesn't work, too easy to lose track
maybe that'll be my 2026 goal. learn k8s. also maybe get my drivers license. if those work out try losing some weight.
anyways does anyone know how i can learn kubernetes real quick
@Leviamicky it's bizarre. from what my friend who works at the company i'm looking at he says the distinguished engineer is actually a guy in an old ratty shirt with socks and sandals
@Leviamicky okay apparently they follow naming schemes like in academia
i havent heard of this before and i dont think i like it
@Leviamicky it's really weird because there are two positions - one is a "Senior Cloud Engineer" and the other is "Staff Cloud Engineer"
and the senior one needs only 5 years of experience compared to the staff which needs the 7 years
having a terrifying moment in my career where i was looking at job listings and their requirements, seeing "7+ years experience with cloud infrastructure", thinking "wow that's a long ass career in cloud infrastructure"
and realising that actually, i do have 7+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure
oh god
im old
tfw someone in your work chat made a fucking amazing custom emoji but you can't share it without breaking a NDA
My opinion is that there should be one big button labeled "opt out" and when you click it it should opt you out. Just in general.
every day it becomes more illegal to be stupid online
me: npm install soap

two blades in the dark campaigns and an apocalypse world campaign. everything ends with something huge exploding
I think every narrative driven RPG campaign I've been in we ended up doing 9/11
@tiff .....can i not eat it
