One thing about Fedibridge is that since Bluesky doesn't have granular post privacy any post that's set as not public wouldn't come here anyway so the Real Emo Moments and "Here's how big of a dick I think Laios Touden could try to take before getting scared" posts would be stuck on blorbo anyway...

I make bad art.

"Bad" meaning unskilled, sloppy, messy, inconsistent, or ugly.

It's probably the most important thing I do. It's an act of rebellion against the capitalist state.

Make more art, make art that has no commercial value. Tell a story for the thrill of it. Record yourself playing a sloppy three chord guitar track as a way to demand the universe acknowledge your existence.

It's all we have, sometimes.

i used to leave “constructive criticism” comments on fanfiction. i wasn’t mean, but, looking back on it, it would be better to just not say anything :blobDisapproval:

@geraineon god i LOVE loveless im so sad the author seems to have moved on from the story. there’s just . A LOT happening there. i reread everything a couple years ago and was surprised just how much i loved it. one of my favorite series

there was a time when Loveless AU/fusions were a thing iirc.

The gimmick in Loveless is, cat ears! If you lose your cat ears, it means youve lost your virginity. It's very, very public. And people do spell battles with words, with one person as the Fighter (the person who does the battle) and the other the Sacrifice (takes all the damage). You need to incapacitate the Sacrifice. Oh there's also the concept of shared Names (that's how they form fighter-sacrifice units)
