Email never throttled you.
Blogs never begged for dopamine.
The old web wasn’t perfect.
But it was yours.
Very proud of my trio of pull requests to add GC Loader support to FCEUGX/SNES9XGX/VBAGX - I feel like a real console hacker! (I'm not, it was a matter of gluing things together, but still!)
the number one rule of computering is dont delete all your codes!!!!
Real adulthood is recognizing that a wise application of global state is preferable to constant refactoring of tiny implicit dependencies
Shitty bash improvement idea: any time you end a command with ! it will replace it with the `--force` flag

People who say "I just speak my mind" rarely consider that their mind might benefit from an editor.
I don't even remember the last time I played a game day 1, but wowzers am I getting the whole "games have so many bugs on day 1 these days" vibes from Oblivion Remastered. Hope patches can iron out the issues!
How many times must I indignantly furrow my brow and audibly exhale for you to realize that you are being much too loud in this open office?
100 Mastodon myths:
1. Mastodon is hard.
FALSE. It’s a "soft"ware. Not hardware.
2. You have to use Linux to post on Mastodon.
FALSE. FreeBSD and OpenBSD are also supported.
3. You need to learn to use the Vim editor before posting on Mastodon.
FALSE. There’s also an emacs plugin.
4. Mastodon is only for computer nerds.
FALSE. As you can see, we sometimes try to make jokes that everyone could understand.
> create UI for configuring CI
> "UIs bad, infrastructure should be code too"

"Dragon!" the knight called, "I'm here to end your reign of terror!"
"I merely land by a town and ask if they will give me someone to eat."
"Yet when they offer a sacrifice you spurn it and instead eat the mayor."
"Yes. And if they refuse to sacrifice anyone, I leave."
"That's... Hm. Carry on."
People who whine about Ruby not being typed and how that's "obviously a bad thing" have also probably never used my favorite linter ever, Rubocop, which somehow enforces code quality without types! Shock and horror!
The #fediverse! :blobcoffee: :queercat_trans:
~2 weeks ago, I got an unsolicited email that someone was trying to log into my Roblox account, which was created in 2008 and I think never used since. I just finished the account deletion process which involved contacting support, doing identity verification (which was certainly not used to sign up way back then!) and going back forth a few times. Kind of crazy, especially for an account which never had any sort of payment info attached to it.
