Sitting in a bier garten after the kid’s 4th grade end of school celebration and the end of my room parent responsibilities while a dj in a panama hat plays Fela Kuti under a mural of Cesar Chavez interrupted intermittently by the sounds of a parrot on a leash while wrapping up a busy but fulfilling work week in view of my cargo bike that just crossed 2500 miles so far this year while my partner takes a remote meeting around the corner before we go to the kid’s end of year chorus recital. 🥰

I got to wear my Oregon rain gear today! Hooray for #sfrain. That is a 20+year old jacket that has not seen a lot of sprinkles since moving to California. 🚲🌧️
