@midnightspire What situation required you to use object pooling in Godot? Another one of the "Godot ways" is that you don't need object pooling most of the time but I haven't found any good references to situations when you should use it.

@BreoganHackett Did these both work with Godot 4.4? They show 4.2 and 4.3 respectively in the asset library.

@benjins They scale up the size of the thumbnails but then keep using the resolution for the old thumbnail size so they look like garbage.

@weston As far as I understand they'll get fed to the CanvasItemMaterial or ShaderMaterial but I haven't used it yet. It's just a note I have for when I start trying to mess with it myself. 😄

@weston CanvasTexture has slots for Diffuse, Normal and Specular.

@karl Ahh, yeah, brew is major overkill for installing any of the ruby version management tools.

@karl chruby doesn't have a system ruby dependency, just like rbenv and rvm, so a system ruby through brew shouldn't be necessary.

@ConditionalCoder Nice! I've been playing with a 2D game and the 3D just gets in the way and I was thinking how I could deal with it so this is perfect.
