I don't know why we're pretending this is complicated. ICE wears masks because we all saw what happened at Nuremburg when the Gestapo didn't.
That's it.

@TimKStanton I hope you have a great trip!! See you on the other side.
In related news, did you know I have a book about homelab setup and management? That plus lots of other pay-what-you-wish-courses. Purchases directly support TTI projects like the intel feed and WTFBins!
@jerry I’m sorry for your loss, Jerry. Thor seemed like a great cat ❤️
This year I noticed for the first time that lambs ear flowers have a pyramidal structure. And let me tell you, it is not easy to get an iPhone camera to focus on the tip! But I finally managed, so I can show you how cool it is.

Loggerhead shrike. For the first time in many years, I don’t have a trip planned to the Channel Islands. I’m very worried for the future of the country and for our precious natural spaces. Feels like mourning.

Hi all. It's been a while since I've asked, but I'm here again asking for you to support your local fediverse instance. I know many instance operators struggle to make ends meet each month, and there does seem to be a downward trend on donations across the board. If you love this place and are in a position to and your instance supports it, please consider supporting them.
Thank you!
@TimKStanton on adventures like that one his feelings often change over the course of the day. At Jackson summit it was “best day ever”. He summited fine but legs got tired in the long descent, which is pretty rocky and slow going. A nice dinner afterwards helped bring things positive again. He’s not hiked in a while but I think he’ll be up for more if he gets some regularity.
@andrewbriscoe That area looks lovely!
We hiked the Webster Jackson loop, first up to Webster and then to Jackson and back down. It rained overnight and early morning but cleared up mostly by early afternoon.
Great weather and a healthy amount of fellow hikers were out on the trail.
This is rated as one of the easiest NH 4000 footers but it has great views and a nice waterfall, too (I’ll post that Sunday).
I’m happy I was able to get at least 2 solid hikes in on my week off, and even happier that my son accompanied me 😊

This was my son’s first 4000 footer - we had a ton of fun! He got worn out at the 5-6 mile mark on our descent but did great overall. Testing a panoramic which sometimes fails to post properly. 2/?
On Wednesday I hiked Mt Jackson with my 10 year old 1/? #hiking

Help request. My brother has Stage 4 colorectal cancer.
His life insurance has refused to pay out on a technicality, meaning he and his loved ones cannot afford the mortgage on their home.
I've never asked for anything in return for infosec stuff, but if you have anything spare, please chuck it this direction instead:

Call for Sponsors is also open. Swag, badge, and training raffles help our junior attendees and give great name recognition. Contact us at hacks4pancakes at gmail.
