@marcoroth thanks! Would love to have you again in Singapore next time š
I'm now a core member of the Ruby Singapore group and a co-organizer of the meetups š. Lots of ideas cooking. Reach out if you want to give a talk, attend an event or participate in our little community.
I really wanted to use @zeddotdev but standardrb formatting doesn't seem to work, even though ruby-lsp works fine. There's no erb formatting either. Hopefully soon.
Celebrating 20 years of @rails with 500+ words. Mostly on why it's perfect for bootstrapped SaaS. https://onurozer.me/rails-is-good-enough/
Ending @reddotrubyconf on a "light" note: Speeding up delegate methods by @tenderlove.
One of the most underrated features of @rails is that it attracts the kind of people that are more interested in just building things, instead of endlessly debating the merits of frameworks and languages.
@marcoroth looking forward seeing you at @reddotrubyconf and hearing your talk!
On my way to Singapore for @reddotrubyconf this week and then straight to the US for @MadisonRuby next week!
Iām looking forward to give my new talk about Hotwire Developer Tooling! Hope to see you there!

Just launched meetlars.com š. An AI tool for founders and marketers to develop marketing strategies, create customer profiles and generate creative ideas.
Built entirely on @rails, this is my first this fully-featured app, and first time integrating stripe. It took longer than I thought but it was a lot of fun.
Give it a try at meetlars.com and let me know what you think!
The "build" method in Active Record always confused the hell out of me. I thought it was some kind of special method for creating associated objects. Turns out it's the same as "new". Gotta love @rails.
Learned all about @github actions today so I can have a little green check mark every time I make a commit.
@robyurkowski I meant "send" sounds like one of those sharp knife things that's easy to get into trouble with.
@robyurkowski a good example of cutting yourself while playing with "sharp knives" I suppose.
Apparently I can use polymorphic. URLs instead. Rails never ceases to amaze me. š¤Æ
Discovering the joys of metaprogramming in ruby.
TIL about nested layouts in Rails. It was surprisingly difficult to wrap my mind around. Good thing I did not yield so easily to the complexity.
Sleep is like defrag for your brain.
Just one more week to grab your Super Early Bird ticket! Join us in Singapore on July 25-26 for two packed days of the Ruby conference experience. š„³

@poppacalypse more like Rails UI. There's also http://rails-components.com but they both seem to be in early days.
